Major police response at Los Angeles Trader Joe store

Latest update: LAPD tweeted, thanks to work by multiple entities, suspect walkedout, asked to puthandcuffs on himself and was taken into custody.

Los Angeles police reponded to a Trader Joe's in Silver Lake this afternoon after there  reports of an armed suspect.

At a press conference, according to LAPD,  the suspect shot his grandmother at 32nd street, she is in critical condition; took a second woman hostage who was shot, she was rescued by police and is in good condition and a third woman who was shot inside the store, who succumbed to her injuries. The gunman held others hostage in the store while making demands to authorities.
