Marci Kitchen intervention today to last about 10 minutes, Judge Cockrum makes disclosure

Attorneys for Marci Kitchen are meeting with Judge Kaleb Cockrum right now in chambers for the continued intervention from Wednesday. The case will then be called, on record.

Deputy District Attorney Joel Buckingham was here today with Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads who is prosecuting the case. Does this mean he will be involved with the case. Perhaps as second chair?

Before meeting with attorneys, Judge Cockrum made a disclosure that he was called by a third party last night. "No information was transferred but it was in regard to ongoing investigations."

Intervention was longer than 10 minutes. First, Judge Cockrum met with attorneys, then with Ms. Kelly Nyberg, in charge of court operations, which includes scheduling. Then with attorneys, again.

After the intervention, I asked Mr. Buckingham of he was second chair, he said no and deferred to Ms. Eads to answer the question. I did not get an answer why he was there.  Ms. Eads was walking out and going back out to the DA's office with Joe Kitchen and Chris Marchi, Faith Tsarnas' uncle. Both of them attended the court hearing.

Marci Kitchen was not present today.
