HCSO investigating homicide in Orick; 35 year old male victim
At 1 PM, HCSO was looking for a judge to sign a search warrant. I am guessing it was for this homicide case.
Update: Suspect detained.

The Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received the call for service just after 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018 for a 35-year-old male stabbing victim. The suspect reportedly fled the scene southbound.

A CHP officer located and detained the suspect on Hansen St. in Orick.
This incident is still under investigation.
