Last homicide locally was last December?

Lost in the headlines this year is the fact that after 2016 where there were a record number of homicides locally, there have been no homicides since last December. Just remarked on that fact with someone I was informally chatting with from HCSO.

  1. If you read this blog regularly, you know she is out of custody. You would also know that she travelled out of the country twice. If you don't do a google search. There is nothing new to report until her next court hearing, March 16 and then March 20.

    1. I haven't yet but if the shoe fits. This is the third comment you have left on unrelated posts about "where is marci?" I am not her keeper nor your personal media outlet available 24 hours. This is a free service I provide and have a lot of other news to work on.

I answered your question and yet, you are back the fourth time. Try and do some research on your own. Takes the same amount of typing and effort.

  3. Thursday, January 5th, Benjamin Lee Taggart, a 21-year old man who died from a major head wound on Jan. 5 after being found near the Eureka Slough Bridge, was the victim of a hit-and-run, says the California Highway Patrol. ?

    1. You do not cite a source for the above information. I did think about that one but CHP is still investigating as of the last report. Media reports differ on cause of death and why. If you have information and can cite appropriate authority like CHP or Coroner and I can verify that, I will update the post.

  4. Just me, I appreciate your response. Did not publish it because I usually do not publish links in my comments section unless they are to a neutral verified source like Wikipedia. That link was already addressed in the above mentioned media reports. I also will not link to a local publication who I have zero respect for and one that has been petty and childish in giving appropriate credit and does sloppy journalism. I am looking for a more updated report after those initial reports. I will follow up with CHP myself.
