44 year old Hillary Jeans Haskins was arrested by HCSO on 8/29 for PC 664/187(a) attempted murder and PC 273. 6 (a) violating a protective order. arraigned on 9/3.
The DA filed a complaint charging Haskins with Count 1 PC 245 (a)(4) assault likely to produce great bodily injury as a felony; PC 273.6 (a) Count 2 violating a protective order. Alleged victim in Count 1 is Natalie Irene Harpe.
Retired Judge Joyce Hinrichs set bail at $35,000 and appointed Conflict Counsel. OR bail on 9/5; preliminary hearing 9/12. There was no referral to supervised release, according to court minutes. Four other 2024 cases are scheduled for the same dates.
9/5/25: OR continued to 9/8.
9/8/25: Alleged victim "Mr. Morrison addresses court, alleged victim Ms. Harpe addresses court." OR and supervised release denied.Defense motion to continue preliminary granted; rescheduled to 10/16.
10/16/25: Preliminary hearing continued by defense to 12/11.
12/11/25: Preliminary hearing continued by defense to 2/10/26. Alleged victim and witness Natalie Harpe ordered back.
