Whoever came up with EPD's Slow Down Eureka! needs an extra bonus this year

This was my favorite one. 

I have expressed the same thought over the years in private conversations about speeding.  All I have to add is, this is Humboldt, where do you possibly have to rush to every day that slowing down and leaving a few minutes early cannot accomodate? All you speeders that ignore crosswalks, almost run over people, run red lights do not represent the majority of polite Eureka drivers.
