Michael Gordon Davis was booked into the Humboldt County jail last night on an arrest warrant on two charges of PC 288 (c) (1) lewd and lascivious act on a minor the age of fourteen or fifteen and PC 273.6 (a) violation of a protective order.
He had an arrest warrant issued in a 2025 case 10 days ago. In that case, his co-defendant is Samantha Summers
10/1/25: At arraignment, Humboldt Superior Court Judge Lawrence Killoran set bail at $50,000. Deputy District Attorney Trent Timm appeared on the case for the People; Public Defender's office appointed. Local attorney Ms. Kathleen Bryson appeared via Zoom making a special appearance for co-defendant Summers. She will let the Court know at the next court date if she has been retained. OR bail on 10/3; preliminary hearing on 10/10.
10/3/25: Gordon was granted supervised release by Humboldt Superior Court Judge Steven Steward. Mr. Timm and Deputy DA Rebecca Buckley-Stein appeared on the case for the People. Deputy Public Defender Casey Russo for Davis. Alleged victim's father present and adresses the Court. Criminal protective order served on Davis. Ms. Bryson was present with Summers whose arraignment is scheduled for 10/9. Davis' preliminary is scheduled for 10/10.
10/9/25: Summers arraigned. Trial confirmation scheduled for 1/21/26; jury trial on 1/26/26.
10/10/25: Defense motion to continue Davis' preliminary hearing granted; rescheduled to
11/13.
11/14/25: Defense motion to continue Davis's
preliminary hearing granted; rescheduled for
3/5/26.
