When your last name is Madrone, you can get arrested for sodomy with a minor, get rearrested while you are out on supervised release and resolve your case for an "informal agreement"

After defense dragged out Sergio Madrone's case for months, on 9/24, instead of a preliminary hearing date being set, the case resolved.

Pre trial and status of AOD assessment is scheduled for 11/14/25. Disposition reset with a 1 year informal agreement is scheduled for 9/24/26.

Deputy District Attorney Carolyn Schaffer appeared on the case for the People. Deputy Public Defender Casey Russo is Madrone's attorney. Judge Lawrence Killoran ordered a 25 yard stay away from schools, parks and playgrounds where children are present but not from colleges. Madrone is not to be with minors or communicate with minors.
