Larry Rodriguez booked into jail on a warrant for sexual battery, released on OR

 

52 year old Larry Daniel Rodriguez was booked into the Humboldt County jail yesterday on an arrest warrant for PC 243.4(e)(1) sexual battery.

According to jail records, it is is a misdemeanor charge and he was released on O.R. 

Checked Humboldt Superior Court. This warrant was issued on 6/30 for Larry Daniel Rodriguez III. The DA filed a complaint on 6/27. Arraignment on 8/26.

Age is close to the Larry Daniel Rodriguez who was arrested in 2013 but those who reported on that arrest have no booking photos. I checked Humboldt Superior Court records and is the Daniel Rodriguez with a Willits address. It is the same Daniel Rodriguez who broke into the U.S. bank.

He was arraigned today in CR2501275; Conflict Counsel was appointed, Public Defender Luke Brownfield made a special appearance;  protective was order served. Ms. Heidi Wells present for alleged victim. Deputy DA Matt Dobie appeared on the case for the People. Trial confirmation on 9/23; jury trial on 9/29.

9/23/25: Defense motion to continue granted. Trial setting on 10/1/25.

10/1/25: Trial confirmation on 1/7/26; jury trial on 1/12/26.
