Jonathan Eisenhard Marcks arrested by EPD for criminal threats, false imprisonment and domestic battery

Yesterday, Jonathan Eisenhard Marcks, Jr. was arrested by Eureka Police Department for PC 422 criminal threats, PC 236 false imprisonment and PC 243 (e) (1) domestic battery. Bail is $25,000.

I reached out to EPD PIO Laura Montagna for more information and confirmed Jr is 19 years old and not the man with a similar name I covered previously who is now 40 years old.

In 2021, I did a post on 36 year old convicted molestor and Arcata resident Jonathan Eisenhard Marcks who was sentenced by Judge Kelly Neel to 22 years in state prison after Marcks pleaded guilty to continuous sexual abuse of a child and lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14.  That Jonathan Eisenhard Marcks is still in Mule Creek State Prison.

Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm was the prosecutor for that case. Marcks' attorney was Deputy Public Defender Luke Brownfield.
