Convicted felon Massai Moser arrested again by HCSO, booked for domestic battery and vandalism

Convicted felon Massai James Moser who was arrested in July 2023 by HCSO initially for driving with a suspended license, resisted arrest and after a search of his vehicle was booked on additional charges of felon in possession of ammunition,  felon in possession of firearm,  possession of a controlled substance while armed with a firearm, possession of concentrated cannabis over 1 oz,  possession of bomb making materials and possession of a dirk or dagger. He resolved that case with a plea. 

Conviction in a 2022 case for battery and disturbing the peace. A 2021 conviction for possession of destructive device with a prison sentence. A 2020 conviction felon in possession of a firearm, a 2016 DUI conviction. Another DUI conviction in 2014. He has multiple aliases.

Moser was arrested again yesterday by HCSO for PC243(e)(1) domestic battery and PC 594(a)(2)(a) vandalism.

7/18: Moser was charged by the DA in Count 1  PC243(e)(1) domestic battery and Count 2 PC 594(a)(2)(a) vandalism. Alleged victim Rachel Allender.

Deputy DA Rebecca Buckley-Stein appeared on the case for arraignment; Public Defender's office appointed;  Visiting Judge Marjorie Carter set bail at 10,000, criminal protective order served in court.
 
7/22: Visiting Judge Doris Shockley denied supervised release. Trial confirmation on 8/7; jury trial on  8/11.

8/7/25: At trial confirmation Moser resolved his case with a plea and sentenced by Retired Visiting Judge Ksenia Tsenin to 1 year probation.  Moser pleased guilty to Count 2 vandalism; People dismissed Count 1 battery on non cohabitating partner. Deputy DA Whitney Timm appeared on the case for the People. Deputy Public Defender Ryan McClurg is Moser's attorney.
