Michael Gordon Solomon was arrested and booked into custody by Eureka Police Department yesterday for felony PC 236 false imprisonment, felony PC 273.5 (a) corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant more commonly known as domestic violence, felony PC 459/461 (a burglary) and misdemeanor PC 591.5 damaging a communication device with the intent to prevent someone from seeking help or reporting a crime. Bail at booking is $50,000.
Eureka Police Department PIO Laura Montagna told me Solomon was arrested on a warrant. The arrest was neither at a business or a residence. 25 searches come up for Michael Gordon Solomon in Humboldt Superior Court starting in 2012. I have included court records on some of Solomon's prior convictions.
I do not see a current warrant or case yet.
7/23/25: The DA filed a complaint today. Solomon is aka Michael Gordon Sullivan and Philip Nathanael Jones. Solomon was arraigned today: Public Defender's office appointed; Visiting Judge Doris Shockley set bail at $75,000.

7/25/25: Granted supervised release. 8/1 preliminary hearing rescheduled for 9/12. Released from jail on 7/28/25.
9/12/25: Preliminary hearing continued to 10/30.
10/30/25: Preliminary waived. Arraignment on information on 11/12.
11/12/25: Readiness Conference on 12/18; jury trial on 1/5/26.
