Second District Supervisor Michelle Bushnell sworn in a virtual ceremony

This afternoon Second District Supervisor Michelle Bushnell was sworn in by Judge Joyce Hinrichs.  Supervisors Rex Bohn and Mike Wilson were also sworn in the virtual ceremony.

On her Supervisor Facebook page, she wrote, "Thank you to everyone that voted for me in this Election. I’m honored to represent the 2nd District and Humboldt County as a whole."

Supervisor Bushnell has been an active member of the second district for decades having served as a school district trustee, a Rotarian and the president of the Southern Humboldt Chamber of Commerce.

Supervisor Bushnell was elected to office after defeating Estelle Fennell. Supervisor Bohn and Supervisor Wilson were both reelected to serve another term.
