"Unfortunately, my petition was not heard. I am still trying to get a ruling before the preliminary hearing on Thursday."

The 827 petition hearing scheduled to unseal documents  in the juvenile file of the victim in murder suspect Pamela Millsap's  case was a confidential hearing scheduled for May 18 this morning. The victim was her son.

I have covered why this is relevant in several previous posts.

Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm is the prosecutor for the case. Deputy Conflict Counsel April Van Dyke is Millsap's attorney. Both were in court yesterday morning for several cases.

The hearing is not open to the public so I followed up with Ms. Timm. "Unfortunately, my petition was not heard. I am still trying to get a ruling before the preliminary hearing on Thursday," said Ms. Timm.

Millsap's preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 21. At the last hearing, it was already indicated that courtrooms are at a premium and the hearing could "get bumped."
