One doctor from Humboldt and one from UCSF to evaluate Daniella Moore
Setting of preliminary hearing and appointment of doctors was continued to this morning for murder suspect Daniella Moore. Setting of preliminary hearing was continued again to July 7 due to coronavirus pandemic impact and time needed for the PC 1026 evaluation.
On March 12, murder suspect Daniella Moore entered an additional plea of not guilty by reason of insanity.
Dr. Erick Hung from UCSF and Dr. Mikel Matto from Humboldt were appointed to evaluate Moore.
Dr. Hung works with Dr.Chamberliain, another court appointed psychiatrist who has been appointed on Humboldt cases. County is paying for the expenses for these evaluations.
There are other funding requests from defense that are sealed and confidential.
Deputy Public Defender Casey Russo is Moore's attorney. Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads is the prosecutor for this case.
Moore also had a 2018 misdemeanor violation of probation case on calendar this morning. That is trailing the felony.
