Even a simple restitution hearing gets continued and setting dates is impacted by COVID 19 impacts

A hearing to address restitution amounts owed by Hector Godoy-Standley and Tamara Thomson toTyson Claros' family was scheduled for April 30. It was continued to May 21 and again to June 4.

With three different attorneys for co-defendants and still some concerns about amounts, a contested hearing maybe set. The next date is to schedule dates and see if attorneys can reach a stipulation.

Thomson is represented by Mr. David Nims. Godoy-Standley's attorney is Mr. Russ Clanton.

Deputy District Attorney Carolyn Schaffer is the prosecutor for this case.

Brandon Mitchell has already been sentenced and transported to prison. His case was also on calendar. His attorney is Ms. Andrea Sullivan.
