Jury in Zachary Harrison case requests DVD of crime scene
The jury started deliberations around 4:15 p.m. in murder suspect Zachary Harrison's case at 4:15 p.m. on October 7. They resumed deliberations after 9 a.m. Left for lunch around 11:45 p.m.. Back at 1:30 and left around 4:20.
In the morning, they requested readback of three prosecution witnesses. After lunch, while the court reporter was doing readback, at 2:10 ,p.m., they requested People's exhibit #7 and a DVD of the crime scene.
Harrison is charged with first degree murder with a special allegation of "personally and intentionally discharging a firearm and proximately causes great bodily injury.
The jury was instructed of the lesser charge of second degree murder.
Deputy District Attorney A.J. Kamada is the prosecutor for this case. Deputy Public Defender Brie Bennett is Harrison's attorney.
