Berkeley protestor arrested at Humboldt Redwood Company settles her jury trial for an infraction

Isabel Xochitl Osheroff, 24, of Berkeley, CA was one of the protestors arrested by HCSO in June for tresspassing on Humboldt Redwood Company property.

Osheroff settled her  case for an infraction during trial assignment this morning. That was an added Count 2. If she stays away from the property for six months and there are no arrests, she will pay a minimum fine of $70 and that will be her sentence. Or it could cost her a lot more. Judge Elvine-Kreis was very clear about her choices. She was represented by Deputy Public Defender Rosemary Deck. DA Maggie Fleming was present for the People.
