Convicted sex offender arrested consecutively for four months, why isn't he in jail?
Convicted sex offender Randy Knopf was arrested, again, by Eureka Police Department for PC 290.011 (a), failure to register yesterday.
He has been arrested every month since July.
At what point is a Humboldt Superior Court Judge going to give him jail time instead of letting him out on the streets?

Transient violation of PC 290 is a misdemeanor, unless he has two prior convictions for that offense. Transients are required to register every 30 days.
ReplyDeleteDoug, he has a lengthy criminal record and was charged with prior conviction for the same offens and arraigned for this recent arrest.
