Suspects who fled from CHP turn themselves in

The two male suspects who fled from CHP south of Hooker Creek exit earlier today called and said they would turn themselves in. Law enforcement en route to Jay Smith Road.

CHP confirmed this on October 16 via an update. "On 10/15/2019 at approximately 8:00 pm Soto call CHP and turned himself in.  Shortly after, at approximately 9:30 pm, Marvin turned him self in.  Both suspects were booked at the Humboldt County Jail without further incident."

Ivan Javier Soto was booked for resisting arrest. Marvin Rosa was booked for reckless evading. Both suspects were released on OR on October 16.
