PG & E power shutoff one of the reasons Sean Allman's preliminary hearing was rescheduled

Sean Allman had intervention scheduled on October 28. Preliminary hearing scheduled for October 30 was continued. Allman was arrested for threatening members of Episcopal Diocese of Northern California.

Allman's attorney, Mr. Ben Okin told me, the preliminary hearing was continued by stipulation.

"There are a number of reasons that it was continued. One of those reasons is that a witness travels here from out of town and if the power is out as PG&E indicated it would be, the hearing would be continued.  Also, with all the trials going on right now it's highly questionable that it would get out on that day oeven if the power was on.  That's just two of the many reasons.  Both sides are anxious to get this matter to hearing - it was set for December 17 for preliminary hearing as both sides thought all issues delaying the hearing will be resolved by then."

Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm was present for the People.
