Zachary Harrison sentencing continued to November 18


Zachary Harrison's sentencing  scheduled on October 30 was vacated. On 10/28, the defense requested a continuance until November 18.



A jury found Harrison guilty of first degree murder. The special allegation was found to be true. Victim was Robert Holtsclaw.

First degree murder in California is 25 years-to-life in prison. The special allegation of personally and intentionally discharging a firearm and proximately causes great bodily injury. An additional 10, 20 or 25-years to life in prison.



Deputy Public Defender Luke Brownfield has taken over as Harrison's attorney. Deputy District Attorney A.J. Kamada is the prosecutor for this case.
