Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads showed photos of Jane Doe #1 when she first met Chad Smith and when some photos showing how young she was when some of the alleged abuse occurred. This compared to seeing them in court now is effective. Ms. Eads kept her opening statement very focused with counts, time frames, locations and some details.
