Jury trial for Andrew Cunningham assigned to Judge Cockrum although that could change
Jury trial for alleged molestor Andrew Cunningham was confirmed this morning.
Deputy District Attorney Carolyn Schaffer is prosecuting the case. Ms. Heidi Holmquist-Wells appeared in court today at trial assignment for Cunningham's attorney, Mr. Michael Robinson.
The case has been assigned to Judge Kaleb Cockrum. Attorneys are meeting with him this afternoon. Ms Wells indicated that Mr. Robinson "may have an issue" with the case being assigned to Judge Cockrum. That decision was not resolved this morning.
Jurors will be filling hardship questionnaires out on Monday so motions in limine and jury selection is not expected to start until Tuesday.
Trial estimate is 20 days.
