Aurora Police, SWAT team,U.S. Marshall's Task Force responded to the Henry Pratt Building. Police asking people nearby to shelter inside.
Five police officers injured are in stable condition. Multiple civilians were taken to area hospitals. Five people died.
After the shooter was located, there was gunfire exchanged between him and law enforcement. Shooter was killed in that exchange. His name is Gary Martin and he was an employee. Martin bought a gun to the meeting and after he was told he was being fired, he started shooting people.
