Markis Shirley despite multiple arrests, three just in the last month still has a chance to resolve his case

Change of plea was scheduled for Markis Shirley on February 14. Shirley, the guy that keeps getting released, only to get arrested again. The last three arrests in less than a month.

This morning, his case was on for "disposition and reset." His attorney, Deputy Public Defender Luke Brownfield is out of town. Shirley wants more time to discuss his case with Mr. Brownfield so the hearing was continued to February 19.

2/18 update: jail records and a call to the jail indicate that Shirley was released to parole on 2/15.
