Eureka Police responded to a call around noon about a "burglary in progress". 2200 block of Garland Street. EPD Crime Analyst and PIO Brittany Powell said, it turned out that ,"the reporting party knew of the person who was seen opening the door and when the officers arrived, it did not appear any entry into the home was made.
