Attorneys request help from the court to see if they can resolve Patrick Holt's 8 cases

Intervention for Patrick Holt's eight cases was scheduled for February 26. Preliminary hearing for February 28 remained "set."

The eight cases are a small portion of his lengthy record in Humboldt Superior Court.

Today, the preliminary hearing was continued by stipulation, which means both the People and the defense were in agreement.

Another preliminary hearing date was not set yet but another intervention with a "special set" time of 8:30 a.m. on March 8. Attorneys requested help from the court to reach a global resolution. This means a possible plea deal for Holt.

Holt's most recent arrest was in September 2018 for crashing a stolen semi into a tree near the Elks Lodge. He jumped out of the truck with a rifle and ran off. I covered the incident as it was happening.
