At arraignment, Sterling meekly answered Visting Judge Leonard Lacasse, "yes your honor" in response to wanting an attorney appointed.
Time was not waived. Intervention is scheduled for December 20. Preliminary is scheduled for December 26.
Deputy District Attorney Tobias Hasler was present for the People at arraignment. Deputy Conflict Counsel R.J. Leohner for Conflict Counsel's office.
