Jury trial for Seng Yang charged with forcible rape of his own daughter, set for now, on August 27


Seng Yang was arraigned on 16 charges this morning which include forcible rape of Jane Doe (his own daughter) and exhibiting a minor in pornography.

Dates were set on "time not waived basis". Trial confirmation on August 15. Jury trial on August 27.

Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads is prosecuting this case. Public Defender Marek Reavis is representing Yang. Deputy Public Defenders Ben McLaughlin and Casey Russo appeared in court with Yang today.

    1. The next update will be on September 17. Yang wants to hire private counsel. Check the blog on that date.
