It is my pleasure to announce the promotions of Officer Greg Hill and Officer Cory Crnich to Police Sergeant. Sergeant Hill's promotion is effective today.  His new badge number, which he specifically requested, is L24 which means he has big shoes to fill.  # L24 was once worn with distinction by retired EPD Sergeant Bill Nova.

Officer Crnich's promotion to sergeant is anticipated to become effective on June 1st, 2018.  However, this date is flexible due to present Patrol staffing needs and his promotion may become official earlier.  Cory currently serves as EPD's Old Town Foot Patrol Officer.
