Another last minute development, now defense wants a continuance in former correctional deputy Cory Fisher's alleged molestation case

Intervention hearing was scheduled for former Correctional Deputy Cory Fisher today. Preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 24; for now.



Two days before former Correctional Deputy Cory Fisher's intervention hearing, Conflict Counsel filed a motion for an in camera review of documents and a modification of the gag order in the case.

Today, at intervention, Deputy Public Defender Joe Judge said he was going to file a motion to continue the preliminary hearing. That motion will be heard on Monday at 10:15.

Deputy District Attorney Carolyn Schaffer subbed in today for her colleague, Ms. Eads. The People would not accept an oral motion to continue. Judge Dale Reinholtsen granted an order shortening time to file the written motion.
