"In short , I don't just "like Eureka", it is my home and I LOVE Eureka."

Of course the first question most people ask me is why am I running for Eureka City Council (Ward 3) ?

I have lived in Eureka for over 40 years, I raised my kids in public schools here and I will retire here one day.



I am committed to Eureka and have proved it with my extensive record of community volunteerism that is way over 10,000 hours over the decades.   In short ,  I don't just "like Eureka",  it is my home and I LOVE Eureka.

Eureka is still a great place to live but it does have some problems.  Problems that can be addressed with a committed, engaged, involved and competent city council.

We do have a problem with homelessness and crime (two different subjects by the way),  litter and trash and a general run down appearance especially in the Old Town, downtown and waterfront areas of town.  We have problems with the environment degradation caused by illegal campers in most of our gulches, greenbelts and wooded areas around town.
