What does pending litigation against the County have to do with the Cory Fisher case?

I just wanted to know about the in camera review of documents in the Cory Fisher case and the modification of the gag order. So, I requested to view the file and all public documents in the file.

I ended up finding out why the County could not respond to my Public Records Request about a form filed by four inmates to shed more light on their proposed litigation against the County.  The criminal case referred in the County's response to me is the Cory Fisher case. There is a gag order in the Fisher case.

Why the defense wants a modification of the gag order was addressed in my previous post.

The reason for an in camera records review in the Cory Fisher case is another unfortunate consequence of the gag order in former correctional deputy Cory Fisher case.
