Desiree Henley got probation for "aiding and abetting" in the Blue Heron fire


Desiree Henley's sentencing was scheduled for this morning. Three years formal probation.



Henley entered a guilty plea to Count 2 of aiding and abetting in the Blue Heron fire.

  1. She did the City a favor and she paid plenty to Squires for services rendered. Normally I would say she should do more time, but she’s had enough done to her by the likes of Squires, and others, I’m sure. She is in a life of repetitive victimization by people who take advantage of her and her living situation. Jail might be a respite from the streets but really serves no purpose for her. Hopefully she can find the help she needs to live a safer life.
