You’ve got to love the smell of dirty politics in the morning.

DeleteJudy Hodgson, the publisher of the North Coast Journal has referred to four current Board of Supervisors as the "gang of four". Patrick Cleary, owner of Lost Coast Communications, also has a vested interest in local politics. You think their "media sources" are presenting all sides?
I did not sanitize the above emails. I presented them as they are. Time and again, I dont have a problem calling out people at risk to me, including people I have previously supported.
The patting on the back between the same cliquey reporters and ad crew that mostly vacillates between the TCS NCJ, LOCO (Thad, Ryan, Hank, Shane, Sam, Kimberly). Tom Newhouse, first at LOCO, now at KAEF,all just move around from one media outlet to another.
NCJ and LOCO reported for months on the auditor controller. Did they contact Joe Mellett about Katen's allegations? The NCJ did say they reached out to Supervisor Bohn.
These publications with multiple staffers mostly put out press releases. They never take any real risks, they dont ask for public records requests unless it suits an agenda. What do these paid staffers do all day? Their output is pathetic for the resources they have. They dont have the guts to ask Natalie Arroyo or Austin Allison the tough questions about Eureka. Crime, needles, feces, drunk bums, crazies yelling all hours of the day and night. That would be reporting. Instead they print pr/fluff pieces about renewable energy in the future and Arroyo taking credit for cannabis jobs like she is the reason.
