Dr. Michael Ramirez's report of Hugo Parral-Aguirre found him "not competent to stand trial" at this time. However, Deputy District Attorney Josh Rosenfeld said People "do not submit" on the report and asked that a second doctor be appointed. A hearing to appoint a second doctor is scheduled for January 26.
Deputy Conflict Counsel Meagan O' Connell and the court certified interpreter had to explain to Parral-Aguirre what the doctor's report meant. Could not hear all of what they said but I did hear "This is not physical, it is about the visions you saw"
Two women have attended every court hearing and talk with his attorney at or after each hearing.
