Louise Turpin, arrested with her husband Doug yesterday for alleged torture and child endangerment, was "perplexed why law enforcement" was at her house.
Law enforcement said the Turpins showed no signs of mental illness. No religious connection to the alleged behavior has been discovered at this stage of the initial investigation.
