Lorence Bailey and Jonah Little, who are charged with assaulting Correctional Deputy Dillon Huffman, already had their jury trial continued to November 13. Another continuance was granted today. New jury trial date is December 4.
It was rescheduled from October 30 after Bailey's attorney, Mr. David Celli requested a continuance. At the last hearing, Mr. Celli had indicated he needed some records for Bailey and the challenge in obtaining them.
These involving charges of prior strikes for Bailey.
Again, over objections of Deputy District Attorney Whitney Barnes and Conflict Counsel's Mr. Kaleb Cockrum, the continuance was granted.
