New lawsuit filed by individual who moved out of Hillsdale Apartments

I was waiting to report on the Hillsdale Apartments lawsuit filed by two current tenants, Don Swall and Vanessa Vachon against Dwivedi Tower LLC, depending on what happened at the 10/10/25 Case Management Conference.

I already have a case management statement filed by Janssen Malloy's Mr. Patrik Griego which is included in the last post . Nothing from Dwivedi Tower LLC. I checked again today. Mr. Griego filed a new complaint today. This is different than the class action lawsuit and is filed by an individual, Amber Kirst, who moved out, the allegations are the basically the same. There is a case management conference scheduled in the new lawsuit for 3/20/26.

The third cause of action is of interest because I reported on the certificate of occupancy obtained by Dwivedi Tower LLC.

As I have disclosed before, I currently reside at Hillsdale Apartments. Janssen Malloy, like all  my advertisers, are clearly visible. If you have followed my coverage of this case, it is no different than my reporting on any other court case.

The former tenant in this lawsuit is someone I observed including when she moved out, as I have at least three other tenants who moved out recently. I have been looking to move. With the housing situation everywhere, including Humboldt, and the economy, that is easier said than done.

The law is the law and this new lawsuit and the previous lawsuit will go through the judicial process. Depending on when and if Dwivedi Tower LLC files any response, I will add it to this post or do a new post.

I am not going to share my observations unless they are mentioned in future court proceedings or court filings.

This is the last post I did and it has links to all previous coverage.

9/25/25: Dhillon Law filed a case management statement today which was not entered into e court until the morning on 10/3/25. I check this case every day and it was not in the system until late afternoon on 10/2/25.
