At 2:39 p.m. last Friday, the jury found HCSO Lt. Sam Williams guilty. Sentencing is on 4/24. Request for remand was denied by Judge Timothy Canning.
The jury started deliberations on 3/28 at 2:54 p.m. They had a verdict on 3/29 at 2:39 p.m. I have reached out to HCSO and cced Sheriff William Honsal to see if Lt. Williams is still employed with HCSO. Sheriff Honsal responded, "Sam is still employed and off on paid administrative leave. "
