Two more charges added to ousted judge Kreis by CJP including lying about prior CJP discipline

 

"To Gregory J. Kreis, a judge of the Humboldt County Superior Court from June 2017 to the present: Preliminary investigation pursuant to Rules of the Commission on Judicial Performance, rules 109 and 111, having been made, the Commission on Judicial Performance has concluded that formal proceedings should be instituted to inquire into the charges specified against you herein. By the following allegations, you are charged with willful misconduct in office, conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice that brings the judicial office into disrepute, and improper action within the meaning of article VI, section 18 of the California Constitution providing for removal, censure, or public or private admonishment of a judge or former judge. "

That makes it 21 counts. Count 20 is a question I submitted to KMUD for the forum on judicial candidates. I also wrote about Gregory Kreis violation because he appeared for that debate with his campaign sign and from his chambers.

I have added the two new charges for the formal proceedings against Kreis by the Commission on Judicial Performance. Kreis has to "file a written answer to this First Amended Notice of Formal Proceedings no later than Friday, April 12, 2024."

"The First Amended Notice of Formal Proceedings and answer shall constitute the pleadings.  No further pleadings shall be filed, and no motion or demurrer shall be filed against any of the pleadings. This First Amended Notice of Formal Proceedings may be amended pursuant to Rules of the Commission on Judicial Performance, rule 128(a)."

In Count 20, this statement is important. 

"In fact, you were disciplined by the Commission on Judicial Performance on or about December 14, 2018.  Your statement that you had “never been disciplined” was false or misleading, and was made knowingly or with a reckless disregard for the truth."

Kreis was disciplined a year and seven months after he was appointed as a judge. Must have been a private discipline. The CJP website only lists public discipline.

The voters have already declared him unfit. This shameless, uncouth POS has not conceded and continues to collect his $260,000 salary. The CJP needs to remove Kreis from the bench and he needs to be disbarred. His wife called him a pathological liar. I have exposed him with court records. Kreis has zero credibility.
