Brian Daniels is former HCSO Deputy Jason Daniels' son. For all his mea culpa, I was correct and Daniels has not changed.
On May 5, 2021, I reported that Daniels resolved his four Humboldt cases with the dismissal of one cases and misdemeanor pleas in three cases with charges dismissed in those cases.
After a hung jury in one case, Daniels got to plead guilty to one count of brandishing a firearm. Daniels will serve no jail time because he got credit for 1 actual day and credit for the 30 days at Waterfront Recovery and 1 year informal probation. He had a $70 fine, a $150 restitution fine and a booking fee of $206 in that case.
In another case, his original DUI charge was reduced and he pleaded guilty to a "wet and reckless"; restitution reserved and he pleaded guilty to the hit and run charge.
In that 2021 post, I wrote Daniels was supposed to move to Missouri at the end of the month to join his wife who is stationed there with the air force.
Judge Kelly Neel told Daniels,"I am doing this in part in recognition of your getting your act together and for being a member of the National Guard."
I wrote in 2021: Is he apologetic and has he turned his life around, time ? Time will tell.
At that May 2021 hearing, Daniels mumbled some words which did not sound sincere but more like he knew he had to apologize. Judge Neel mentioned the consequences of breaking the law in Missouri.
In August 2021, a local reader sent me this tip. "The word on the street Brian Daniels was arrested in Missouri for DUI and open container. think it was Aug 17 th his wife is stationed at Whitman Air Force base."
With the information I was given in 2021, I could not confirm that 2021 alleged DUI arrest.

Today, I received an email and this attached document. I sent the person a link to my last post with the resolution and gave them the Humboldt court clerk's information. It is hard to get information, especially if you are out of state. Humboldt Superior Court could provide online information like Missouri and it is free. It was a project of former Humboldt Superior Court that never happened. One of the cases with more details listed below is an alleged assault case.

Do you have any more info about this guy? Hes up to his old criminal behavior here in Missouri. You mentioned a May 7, 2019 hearing date.. It seems very hard to get info from the state of California, on how this turned out and what the details were about on the original charges.
