First Humboldt Reddit, now Twitter X giving live coverage and faster than Humboldt media on scene

 

The information in the tweets needs to be verified. The Humboldt media is on scene can't even get press release information about a deadline extension up. I just checked LOCO and RHBB. The University extended the deadline to 5 p.m. I was at the courthouse and I still managed to update information faster all day. 

Based on a Twitter X post, the students are still there. If you want live coverage in real time, just go on Twitter X. In one of the videos, you can see LOCO's Ryan Burns going in and all you have on LOCO as I am writing this post is a photo of Sheriff Honsal, Undersheriff J.D. Braud and one lame video about the building being opened up. I checked the RHBB site and all there is the press release. On the RHBB facebook page, why would I watch people walking into the building?

If students are in a second building as a tweet suggests and local media is on scene, that should have been in the updates instead a photo of the Sheriff and watching people walking into a building.  LOCO is on scene and couldn't update about the deadline or get some information not in CalPoly HSU cookie cutter press releases?

LOCO could check out what this tweet claims instead of assisting Sheriff Billy into another photo op. He knows this is getting national attention. 

The CalPoly HSU update was: "The offer for protestors in the buildings to leave with a guarantee of no immediate arrest has been extended to 5 p.m.Those who walk out peacefully by the deadline will not be immediately arrested and will be able to leave campus without being arrested. This does not, however, eliminate University conduct-related sanctions or legal implications. In addition, voluntarily departing in this way will be considered as a mitigating factor in University conduct processes and may reduce the severity of sanctions imposed. "

North Coast News video interviewed a student and was  better than the LOCO and RHBB videos. If Nazy was still here, people would be glued to her Facebook live because we would be getting pertinent information and engaging content.
