Today is the deadline for ousted Gregory Kreis to file a response to the Commission on Judicial Performance's first amended notice which added two additional counts to the notice of formal proceedings against him. Where is it? Not that his response will be a surprise, deny, deflect, blame and use the MAGA playbook excuses.

As usual, after the post, Kreis' answer appeared on the CJP website. It seems Kreis and his lawyer James Murphy bravado has been toned down because they realize that their in the face arrogance isn't working but the denial continues. Kreis regarding the discipline question misunderstood ? forgot ? and focused on the State Bar ? instead of the Commission. The voters made the right choice to oust this fool because judges know which agency disciplines them. The response is short so I have added it to the post. Kreis admits he incorrectly answered about discipline but with "this mindset and understanding." Save your entertainment money and just watch the Kreis and Murphy clown show at the CJP hearing.
I was also the only one to report on April 4 about his 2018 FPPC violation. I included a letter but today, the FPPC responsed to my media request for documents. The FPPC chose to reject a 2024 complaint about this election but people should read it. I covered in real time and posted election filings for the 2024 election including Kreis. He got a warning in 2018 and he went ahead and did the same sloppy filings, amended after being called out on this blog. I don't know why the FPPC rejected this anonymous complaint. Maybe they explained their reasons confidentially to the person who contacted them. The CJP does the same even if they do not move forward with a complaint. You can still read that complaint and other documents posted below.

"We conducted a thorough search and attached responsive materials to your request. We found FPPC Case No. 2018-00406, this case is closed as of July 10, 2018. Additionally, we found an anonymous complaint, COM-03042024-00743, which was rejected."
Kreis' response to First CJP amended notice:
I am no longer linking all the posts I have done on Kreis. There are too many, they have been linked numerous times and they are all accessible via the search feature on the blog.
