San Jose resident Blair Anderson Wortham has two court cases. One for his arrest by Arcata Police Department. The other for his arrest by Eureka Police Department. The EPD case is trailing the APD case. On 4/3, Wortham was held to answer on all charges in the APD case. Defense motion to reduce Count 4 was denied. Arraignment on information in the APD case and pre-trial in the EPD case are scheduled for 4/17.

4/3 court minutes for APD preliminary hearing:

Charges for both cases and more details are in previous coverage.

4/17: Arraigned on information in the APD case. Trial confirmation on 5/29; jury trial on 6/10. Pre trial in EPD case.

5/29: Trial confirmation continued to 6/4 for "possible continuance." People object to mental health diversion, set for hearing on 6/7.

6/4:  At trial confirmation in CR2400447 which is the APD case, defense requested petition for mental health diversion be heard earlier. The request for mental health diversion was granted by Judge Lawrence Killoran. 6/7 is now scheduled as trial setting. The 6/10 date vacated.  CR2400580 the EPD
case is trailing.

6/10: When I checked the case again, the 6/7 hearing was. continued to 6/10 and that date was back in e court. Mental health diversion continued was granted in both the APD and EPD cases.
