Convicted spousal rapist Scott Eden has trial confirmation scheduled for April 6; jury trial on May 17. Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads is the prosecutor for the case.
Deputy Public Defender Ben McLaughlin appeared in court on behalf of Deputy Public Defender Wade Orbelian. Mr. McLaughlin said Eden will not waive his right for experts to testify remotely. This option was suggested due to COVID 19 safety concerns.
