Jacquelyn Bradley was scheduled to be sentenced on July 21. It was continued to August 4 by Judge Kaleb Cockrum since defense had not received the probation report and Judge Cockrum did not want to sentence Bradley until she had looked at the report.



Judge Cockrum is not here this week. Bradley entered an Arbuckle waiver so she could be sentenced  by Judge Christopher Wilson today.

In her 2018 VOP case, Bradley's probation was revoked and she was reinstated on probation. In her felony case, the victim is Sgt. Eddie Wilson, Bradley waived 75 days of credit to be placed on three years of formal, supervised probation.

In addition to the usual fines, Judge Wilson imposed a $600 fine and reserved victim restitution. Two terms of her probation are to complete treatment at the Waterfront recovery program and a stay away order from Sgt. Wilson's residence.

Bradley wrote a letter to the victim, EPD Sgt. Edward Wilson, the arresting officer Joseph Couch and Judge Cockrum. Sgt. Wilson submitted a brief, written statement which he read in court today.

He talked about the "frustration, anger, disbelief" that the incident even occurred. "To have someone violate the safety of our home when my children are present." Sgt.Wilson said that his children are autistic and have "no ability to protect themselves."

Ms. Andrea Sullivan is Bradley's attorney. Deputy District Attorney Jessica Acosta is the prosecutor for the case. Deputy DA Whitney Timm appeared on the case for the People today.
