"If COVID rules are relaxed, experts can appear in person or they will appear via Zoom"

Setting of an evidentiary hearing was scheduled this morning for Brian Fiore's writ of habeas corpus.

Fiore's attorney is Mr. Russ Clanton. Deputy District Luke Bernthal is handling the hearing for the People.

Mr. Bernthal and Mr. Clanton spoke informally before the case was called. Based on the availability of defense experts, the hearing is scheduled to start on October 22 and there is a three day estimate.

"If COVID rules are relaxed, experts can appear in person or they will appear via Zoom," said Mr. Clanton.

I have been covering these hearings in detail and if you haven't followed the case, read the previous post linked below.
