Ryan Shaw charged with shooting at an inhabited dwelling in Thiel incident




Ryan Shaw charged with PC246, shooting at an inhabited dwelling for his most recent arrest. He was arraigned, just now, with bail set at$75,000 for the felony in addition to bail for other two cases.

Deputy District Attorney Jessica Acosta was present for the People. Deputy Conflict Counsel R.J. Leohner accepted appointment on behalf of his office.

Mr. Leohner had to interrupt Shaw who started saying, "The one charge", when asked about his plea. After Judge Christopher Wilson explained to him the process, he said, "okay on those twocharhes."

OR/bail was waived without prejudice. Time was not waived for the felony. Time was waived for the misdemeanors and they will"trail."

Preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 25.
